In 2022, I returned to the world of education to pursue a degree in journalism. I joined the University of Stirling student newspaper, Brig, immediately. Much of my recent writing has been there and you can see my author page here. I’ve written a lot of gaming content, as well as covering key political issues and a variety of other topics. Student journalism is extremely important and I am proud to be a part of it.
My piece on the upset caused by Stirling’s vice chancellor speaking out against the gender recognition reform bill has been shortlisted for two awards by the Student Publication Association, achieving “Highly Commended” in the regional awards political category. Brig Newspaper has also been awarded “Best Publication” in Scotland 3 years in a row, and was shortlisted for the nationwide Best Publication category.
